Juan Peña's American River Watercolor
Workshop
Saturday, May 28, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Local watercolor artist Juan Peña will demonstrate and
offer instruction in various painting techniques to help participants
create beautiful watercolor paintings of the river and canyons.
Painting offers the opportunity to "see" and "distinguish"
the unique complex mosaic of plants, animals, geology and light
found in the American River. Juan is an accomplished nationally
recognized artist who works and teaches from his studio, KASHAJUAN,
in Auburn. We will paint along the river at Confluence Area. Participants
may want to bring an easy to carry folding stool/chair and your
own supplies, or we can provide the supplies. Bring a lunch and
water.
Cost is $10 per session using your supplies or $20 per session
using ours. Families of three or more will receive a discount.
To register contact Juan at his studio, 530-887-0312.
